We now have many of our Sink Molds fully switched over to the new style, the Dura-BLU line of Molds. A high polish gelcoat finish, and an internal flange lip for securing the Mold to a form, reinforcing the fiberglass to hold its shape, and a lip to use in removing the Mold from concrete. Long past due for a new product update for Tsunami Countertops. We've come out with about 12 new molds in the last few months. The Tumulus sink mold is a half-round mold, some call it a trough. We made a new trough mold, 40" long, and perfectly symmetrical this time! (It was made on a CNC machine). We have 3 new drainboard molds, two of which we also make stainless steel trivets that fit them. A new small round fruitbowl for making a slight depression in a concrete countertop surface. Concrete sink mold catalog now available

We now have a catalog for the sink molds. This catalog doesn't have pricing, just simple measurements and photos of the mold, and where available, the concrete sink it makes. Some parts of the catalog will be updated over the next few weeks as we get pictures and measurements. This catalog will be good for anyone who wants to show the different sink designs or edge forms to a customer, but doesn't necessarily want that customer to know where you are going to get the mold from, or what price you'll pay. Update on Concrete Countertop Products

A quick update on product: The new concrete sink molds, the Yin-Yang, Tear, and Mesa Ramp are all still scheduled to be ready to start shipping next week. The Drain board insert also will be shipping next week. We had a few delays in getting the new 4 inch rough edge form liner made correctly. We should have the 4" edge forms ready to go on Monday or Tuesday of next week though. The rough edge forms have a rock chipped edge look to them, and can be left pretty rough, or smoothed with slurry mix for a softer edge. Like the 2" version we already offer, the 4" version will be a great addition for concrete countertops with a larger front apron, outdoor decorative concrete, pour in place concrete, and fireplaces.

Finally, A Reusable Drain Board Insert for Concrete

So we've made a number of drainboard inserts, but never had a design we really liked enough to go to all the trouble of making it into a mold. Until now that is:

In less than two minutes, this fiberglass mold can be added into any countertop mold to make a sloped drainboard. Grooves for 'additional' drainage (you can never have enough drainage) and nice aesthetics. Are you saying goodbye to the drainboard-making headaches yet??

Yin Yang Sink Now Pre-Ordering

We've released a few photos (one is displayed below) of the new Yin Yang (Ying-Yang) Sink Mold Design. The Mold will be ready to start shipping in about two weeks. Each mold is one half of the Yin Yang symbol, so when two of the molds are used side by side, allowing a space between them for concrete, they will create the Yin-Yang design into a concrete sink.

It's been designed as a 'larger' sink, meaning each of the sink sides can fit an 11.5 inch diameter dinner plate comfortably in the bottom of the sink. The Drain sizes are your typical kitchen size, so a garbage disposal can be attached.

The sink mold is also available singly, as the Tear Drop sink mold. Uses would be entertainment bars, outdoor sinks, washrooms, etc. Wait, it'd be your sink, so I suppose YOU get to decide its use, not us!

We'll start to publish photos of actual concrete work using the Yin Yang Sink Molds near the end of July. We're looking forward to some cool effects being created using different colors/stains for the two vessels. Pre-order here.

Ramp Mesa Sink

We are in the final stages of production for our new Mesa Ramp sink mold. Similar to the current Ramp mold we have, the Mesa Ramp has dozens of small layers that the water will cascade over on its way to the bottom slot-drain. The sides of the Mesa Ramp mold have also been increased to a 15 degree slope (the current Ramp mold has 5 degree side slope). The mold can be ordered today, and should start shipping the second week of July.
